Hi,
DVT should lead to numbness. It usually leads to symptoms like swelling, pain, redness or heaviness as you must have experienced when you had the DVT. If your Venous Doppler scan is normal then there should not be anything to worry about on that count.
Numbness is usually due to nerve problems or nerve compression. specially, if you are lying in one position then you are likely to experience numbness in certain areas below the area where maximum compression due to the body weight might have been. So it seems pretty normal. But, if the numbness is distressing you should seek help of a Neurologist who can guide you better.

Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
