Can Pain In Knee And Ankle Be Related To Arthritic Hip?

i have an arthritic hip, taking celebrex, which helps.
at night when lying down i get terrible aching from the knee down to my ankle, not as
bad during daytime, could this be a nerve. doing physiotherapy which has not helped much. is this related to
the arthritis radiating down the leg?
with thanks.

thanks for asking question
if you are going for physiotherapy do exercise like harmstring, calf, adductors muscle stretching. it will loss your muscle tightness.calf stretching for 30 sec hold and 5 repetition two times per day will definitaly help you.

take IFT (Interferential therapy) will reduce your radiating pain.

take short wave diathermy to ache muscle will rid out your waste products and relief your pain.

do walking as much as possible because it will provide nutrition to your arthritic joint also help to prevent further arthritis.

arthritis can cause radiating pain because arthritic joint alters bone alignment and weight bearing lead to more weight on other normal joint.

thanks you
