Can Oral Sex Of Bad Oral Hygiene Cause Yeast Infection?

I was a recipient of oral sex last weekend after an unplanned weekend with "girls" Had drinks & ended up having unprotected sex after cunnilingus.....Now feeling irritated ++like a yeast infection....Could BAD oral hygiene be the cause?? The man was in a long monogamous relationship until very recently & well-kempt.

Hi there.
Bad oral hygiene can result in an infection but more bacterial than yeast. It is possible you had an earlier yeast infection or that a local change in flora precipitated a yeast infection. Please go across to your chemist & request for a single tablet of fluconazole 150mg & a single tablet of tinnidazole 2 gm & take them together after a meal (single dose). This should take care of your infection if any. It may however require a prescription from a medical practitioner. Please remember to practice safe sex & drink responsibly. Good Luck & thanks for writing in to HCM :)
