Can Oral Medicines Cure Phlegm And Suffocation?

i have been suffering from cough and plegm for some time. took medicines prescribed by the doctor. then it gives some relief. but after some days, it again starts. during spitting phlegm, i suffer from suffocation. i am afraid if it will be painful to get rid of this. can oral medicines cure it?

I would like to tell you that your symptoms indicates that disease process had involved your both upper and lower respiratory tract. Therefore you should consult your ENT doctor and pulmnologist for thorough examination, necessary investigations to find out the extent of disase and pathology behind it, only than effective plan of treatment may be plan out.
