Can One With Hyperthyroidism Take Lipocut For Weight Reduction ?
Hi, Iam 32 year old and suffering from hypothyroid since 10 years..taking thyronorm 100 mcg. recently 2 years back sufferec from anxiety attacks and on Nexito 20mg and Glycomet 1000. my problem is that I have gained too much weight ..Im 99 kg and feel lethargic all the time...Cna I take Lipocut for weight reduction?..Pleae help..
Hi welcome to HCM.You have hypothyroidism and probably metabolic syndrome that has led to Diabetes. None of the drugs currently available for obesity are totally safe and effective longterm. I feel you have to go on a diet that is nutritionally balanced --skimmed milk and butter milk, mixed sprouts, mixed salads, whole grains, five helpings of fruits, and atleast half a kg of green vegetables a day.
You will also need to increase your metabolic rate with brisk walking(atleast 10,000 steps a day), or any cardio workout or games. It has to be slow and steady--to replace your body fat with muscle tissue.
In case you are not able to do this consult a bariartic surgeon for advise on stomach size reduction surgery that will help you to lose weight.
