Can Nodules In Thyroid & Clavicule Be Related?

I am 72 years of age, female, had a c/t scan which showed couple of nodules on my Thyroid, one of which is 18.5 mm. I have gained weight, have had enlarged clavicule node which has to be tested by ultra sound too? Should I be concerned and are they related?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have thyroid nodule. It can be colloid goitre, benign cyst, adenoma or papillary carcinoma. You also have cervical lymph node enlargement.

Papillary carcinoma of thyroid can leads to lymph node metastasis. Or it can be due to reactive hyperplasia or some other cause.

You should go for FNAC or biopsy of thyroid nodule and lymph node. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
