Can Nitric Oxide Taken Orally Can Relieve The Pain In Feet?
I am type two diabetic. I am not overweight. I am very active and not lazy. I take 1000 units of Metformen daily and it seems to control my blood sugar to the extent I need right now. I had colon cancer six years ago along with six months of chemo treatments. During the last treatment I noticed a tingling in my feet and it still persists. It seems I have neuropathy in my feet. I cant get rid of it as yet. I have read that Nitric Oxide taken orally can be of assistance to relieve the pain associated with this condition. If not Nitric Oxide, what other recommendations would you suggest.Thank you

Can Nitric Oxide Taken Orally Can Relieve The Pain In Feet?
Thank you for asking on HCM. Nitric oxide is a gas that is inhaled. So it can t be taken orally as a tablet, capsul, or oral suspension. Gabapentin (Neurontin) and pregabalin (Lyrica) have become first-choice treatments in recent years for diabetic neuropathy and tingling sensation. All therapies need a 2- to 3-week trial period to adequately evaluate therapy (time when these drugs start working properly). Kindly rate my answer as helpful. Dr. Elton
