Can New Spots Break Out Post Taking Kenalog Shot?

A week ago I got a Kenalog shot for possible contact. Dermatitis. Better but still some new spots. My husband also had injection as we both got it while traveling. Question is, can you get new breakout after being given shot? Scared it could be bedbugs or spider bites.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If no ongoing exposure to the trigger, we do not expect fresh lesions in contact dermatitis. Very rarely, reaction to the primary lesion can cause fresh lesions without further exposure (id reaction). It would be fine if you can review with your dermatologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
