Can mucus discharge from the vagina be due to endometriosis?

Hi I m 24 years old and I just had my second baby 2 months ago. I am having excessive mucus discharge out of the vaginal area and I am hurting really bad in my lower abdominal area I had an IUD placed put in the end of April and I have been cramping ever since. I had a ultrasound done today and it showed that the IUD was still currently in place correctly. I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, but never had surgery could this be related to endometriosis ?

Hi,

You may change your IUD to Mirena. It will take care of infection, endometriosis and prevents pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN

Hi. Iv had a mirena since 2015 but off late I have been getting cramps 2 weeks after having my periods and I continuously get milky white discharge everyday. I get no itch, no foul smell or pains from the vagina, I just get painful cramps. I was treated from endometriosis in 2015 and keep going for check ups every 6 months. What could be the problem?

In January of 2010 I started experiencing itchiness in my vagina. I went to my doctor and she diagnosed me with thrush. The effect however kept recurring. Between January and July I experience heaving bloating (swelling) and tenderness in my pelvic area. This has since surpassed.I took blood tests my gynae used the tests to measure my ca125 (I was diagnoseds with endometriosis 2 years ago)She said it was high. I have a dull pain in my lower back (left side) and a whitish discharge. Is there a way of gaging how long I ve had chlamydia for? if so what are my chance of falling pregnant? Is there a procedure to reverse the damage so I canf all pregnant? Please help Worried and panicked

I am currently being tested for some type of hormone imbalance. I have always suffered with period related problems such as constant thrush with any change in my cycle and bleeding for to long. The blood test so far have confirmed I have a border line under active thyroid and elevated liver enzymes. I seem to be lossing a lot of my hair as well & I have gained a stone in 5 months. here are a few other things I m not sure if there are linked - night sweats / itchy-tingly nipple/ very weak and tired / mood swings / painful intercourse / vaginal dryness/breasts have grown/feeling sick/headaches. i also had a swab a few days ago as I was bleeding (and shouldn t be as the doctor has stopped my periods for 6 months) and the nurse said my cervix was bleeding and looked aggravated she seemed to think i may have a low grade infection.that might explain the low backache and period type pains I m having.I have had a laporoscopy to look for endometriosis but all was clear I was sent away and was told it would get better after a baby this was 3 years ago and since then I have had a baby and it s made everything worse. Please help

I have a full hysterectomy last April, 2013. I kept my one ovary on my right side, although I still have pain on my left side. The left side has always given me pain, especially during my periods. It just really hurts, quite often. Why is this? There is no ovary there!

I have been diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia (no atypical cells) after being on Estrace for a cancelled Frozen Embryo Transfer. I also have endometriosis and used to have some adhesions prior to laproscopies. I have been vomiting all night for no reason. Should I be worried?

I am a 42 yr old female. I had a rt Oopherectomy at age 36, which showed a cystadenoma. At 37 I had my last cycle. Tracking my FSH/LH and Estradiol levels periodically, since my 3 sisters (54, 54, 48) are just beginning menopause. My FSH/LH levels are consistently high (70+-149) and my Estradiol has stayed low (16). Initially after my cycle stopped my Estradiol was 521. I had an instance last Oct where I produced a 2.5-3.8cm complex cyst (resolved Dec) and now I have an FSH of 68 and an Estradiol of 101. What do I do? I am confused and frustrated. I still have night sweats, hot flashes, memory loss and irritability. I have no known family history of anything like this. I have a personal history of endometriosis since 19. HELP!!!! P.
