Can Missing Birth Control Pills Lead To Pregnancy?

Hi I missed 2 pills and had my period early I continued to take my pill and then had my 7 day break I was late getting my new pack and my partner came back from working away which I was not expecting we had intercourse 3 times were he finished inside me and I was 3 days late starting my new pack what are the chances I could be pregnant and would it be okay to continue the pill.

Hi..if you have missed your pills for more than 2 days then you are at risk of pregnancy unless you have used some backup method like condoms or emergency contraception post sex..
So now you should wait for your menses to arrive, continuing your pills as before..if you are very eager, you can perform a home urine pregnancy test by self after about 8 days of your sex episode to rule out pregnancy with reliable results and rest assured..
On missing pills for upto two days, you can take the missed pills as soon as you remember..but if its more than 2 days, you have to use a backup method or emergency contraception for the next 7 days when you perform sex..
