Can Metal Plate In Head Cause Stomach Issues?

Just curious my Dad has been sick for a while now 2-3 years with stomach issues. They cleared him for stomach cancer two yrs ago. They cleaned him out(whatever that means) ,but he has a metal plate in his head from a childhood injury....can that be affecting his stomach? He has been having stomach issues again.Deba

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the stomach related question then you have not mentioned any symptom just stated issue which could not clear any sense when it comes to asking some question to doctor then one need to be very much clear in sense if need some serious advise, if this is the old history of malignancy and having stomach issue then it needs to be seen for that only, better to get done some test like imaging studies and clinical examination too, you even not mentioned the age of your father hope this information helps. (What the metal plate he has may not be the cause of stomach issue )
