Can Mesh Sling Cause Severe Hip Joint Pain?

I had bladder repair and sling surgery in 2008. I have had major hip joint and lower back pain for the past few years. I have had cortisone injections in my hips, x rays, and most recently an mri. Can it be possible that a mesh sling could cause severe hip joint pain.

It is unlikely that the mesh sling that they used to repair your bladder is causing your hip pain. More likely due to osteoarthritis in your hip joint.
