Can Medication For Depression Cause Bed Wetting?

I am 40 years old and have been battling with depression, anxiety, and stress most of my life. I had a traumatic childhood. At any rate I have recently started meditating for about a month and I feel so much more relaxed. Unfortunately I took a nap and wet the bed for the first time since I was five years old. I dreamed I was going to the restroom. I knew I needed to get up but I just didn t. As soon as I urinated I woke up and noticed that my bed spread was slightly wet. Do you think the meditation is causing this?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the use of antidepressants may be associated with urinary incontinence.

This is a possible effect of some of these medications.

You can consider speaking to your doctor to determine if the medication that you are using is associated with this effect.

I hope this helps
