Can Mauby Drink Cause Pimples On Cheek,neck And Belly?

Hi not to sure if is pimples or acne but after drinking mauby two to three times for about two weeks a rash like looking stuff appeard on my cheeks.between my lip n nose n nose.back.neck.chest.breast area n belly. Not to sure if the mauby caused it but it itches now n again,would like to know what it is n what can i use for it. Using candid b cream but slow progress. Help...

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have noticed pimple pimples on cheek,neck and belly which seems to be due to allergic reaction to any of the ingredient of mauby drink. It could be infection of hair follicle by bacteria leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. Maintain cleanliness of the area. You should apply Meladerm cream and it is purely safe to use as this is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. Apply aloe vera gel at night.
