Hello,

When blood relatives have children, it does lead to an increased likelihood of congenital problems with the children. Any disease in the family is likely to be much more likely with the children and some diseases that have not been seen in the family may also occur. It is not a guarantee, but the likelihood is much higher of having children born with problems.

All the best.
