Hi,
A few days ago , i went to a local NH emergency room, because the lymph node behind my ears (more right) were swollen. The highest level of care was from a Nurse P.A. . Blood teste were taken and it was determines I was low on potassium and had adentis or lymphadenopathy. I also mentioned I though I had a small stroke. They gave me the routine stroke test holding down my arms, raise the arms, etc. Nothing was obvious.
But symptoms persist in that I have difficult spitting from the left side of my mouth (mouthwash) as opposed to my right side. Also I can twiggle the left nose, but not the right.
I planned on seeing my PCP tomorrow about this, but cannot contact them today as they are closed for the holiday. My question is, am I having or did I have a mini stroke? or are my symptoms related to the swollen lymph nodes behind my ears?
