Can Lumps In Ear Suggest A Lymph Node?

I have a kidney bean size hard immovable lump behind my left ear. Its not painful but I have had it for about 5 months and within the last year lost 46 pounds without changing anything and have been having horrible joint and lower back pain. I also have been extremely tired. What could the lump be? Just a lymph node?
