Can Lightheadedness, Hot Flashes And Nausea Be Symptoms Of Panic Attack?

I experienced sudden lightheadedness with an extreme wave of heat that felt like it was coming from the inside out, and nauseous feeling. Did not faint but felt like I was on the verge of it. Lost all color in my face. Used a very cold compress to get to feeling a little better but unsteady on my feet. Laid down, but immediately had to go deficate and totally emptied out. Slept about 3 hours. Feel extremely tired and weak. I do not have any history of hypertension or hypotension, no diabetes, no heart problems (although I felt like my heart was pounding, not fast, just more pronouced than normal), no hypoglycemia or any health conditions. However, I have experienced a panic attack before with some associated anxiety. No family history of any illnesses with the exception that my mom had atrial fibrillation at 82. Could this be caused from a panic attack?

Hi, Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might have suffered from VasoVaga attack.

In this condition, blood pressure falls resulting in decreased blood supply to brain leading to the symptoms you experienced.

Whenever you feel such symptoms, you should lie down immediately with head end lower. This will increase blood supply to brain and will relieve the symptoms.

Also get yourself clinically examined and investigated. Also monitor your blood pressure regularly.
Also get an ECG done.

You should take your meals properly and also maintain your hydration.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
