Can Levothroxine Affect Pregnancy Test?

hi,

I was wondering, I am on levothroxine and I was wondering if that can affect a pregnancy test??? I took the test like a half hour ago and I feel like I have some symptoms. It came out negative though. Are they always accurate???

I also feel tired, I have been vomiting, headaches, back pain, but I still don't feel like that sick at the same time and dizzy spells. no sore breasts at the moment??? I need your expertise as to what it may be???

Hello,
No levothyroxin does not affect pregnancy test...
You havent mentioned your last period date...preg tests will be positive in most of the cases after 28-35 days...but sometimes it will be negative in initial days due to low HCG level...
Backpain & headache is rare in initial days of pregnancy, so repeat this test after a week or else you can confirm it with gynecologist by sonography...
If you can come up with more information, I can guide you further...
Feel free to ask anything to me directly, if you want...
I find this answer helpful
