Can Laundry Detergent Cause Vaginal Itching?

Hi, I went to a gynecologist last Friday to get examined and tested for a yeast infection. It turned out to not be that. I still have itching in my pelvic area. Could it be my laundry detergent? My doctor said to stop using fabric softener. A common cause of an allergic reaction. I m just wondering how to get rid of this itching.

thanks for asking question,
i think you are suffering from tinea cruris or bacterial vaginosis it is the one type of fungal infection of groin area.

do not use soap to wash vaginal or groin area as it aiters the PH of vagina and leads to infection.

use V-wash or dry and clean to wash groin area.

do not wash vagina to much.

apply clotrimazole powder after bathing and swimming.

avoid using fabric softener and wash innerwear in antiseptic solution.

use cotton based, fresh, and loose inner wear

apply clotrimazole cream for itching. Your best options include Lamisil, Lotrimin AT, Naftin and Lotrimin Ultra. itch guard is a best topical cream for itching.

take antigungal orally for 3 days.
