Can Laser Hair Removal Cause Headaches?

Can laser hair removal cause headaches? I had laser hair removal today on my upper lip for the first time and a few hours afterwards i developed a headache, which escalated into a migrane. I felt nausea and i was very sensitive to light and sound. I took advil and went to sleep. It seems to have subsided now. However, is this a result of the laser hair removal? Should i discontinue the Laser hair removal?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Slight head ache is common in the initial couple of days.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
Generally it will settle by one week.
If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Wishing all the best.
Thanks
