Can Itchy Rash On Upper Left Abdomen Be HIV Rash?

im female. ive been having 2 rashes (this is the 5th day). one on my left upper abdomen & one on the left stomach. first it was 2 red marks, then after a few days more small circles are developed. sometimes its pretty itchy. ive never taken drugs/have sex but i have a tattoo.. is this a HIV Rash?..please help im really scared.

Hello and I understand your concern with this.

This sounds like an allergic dermatitis and your description really isn't consistent with the rash associated with HIV.

Also, the risk of contracting HIV from a tattoo is extremely small and, if by chance that happened with you, the rash would have occurred within a month after getting the tattoo.

All this having been said, have a doctor take a look at the rash so you can be reassured it isn't from HIV.
