Can Irregular Periods Lead To Red Rashes On Facial Cheeks?

I have some red daane on my cheeks. I have very fair and clear skin. But due to having antifungal medicine in last november i had irregular periods in december. Then i had normal periods in this january. After having normal periods my red rashes got settled and very much fine. But still i can see sume red rashes on my facial cheeks and their very light red spots. My query is with my regular periods will this be alright itself?

Hello,

It is not related to menstrual problems. Possible causes like seborrhoea must be ruled out. Endocrine problems may cause skin diseases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
