Can Intake Of Medication For Diarrhea Cause Delayed Periods?

My gf got Lose motions due to having spicy food and after she took medicine and her motions got stopped for next two 2 days but now she do not getting her period its delayed since 5 days, having stomach pain like at the time of period . Please sugest me

Dear friend,after going through your case history carefully I think loose motion has nothing to do with delayed period.it can be due to many reason including hormonal imbalance.also pain during or before period is also quite common among women.to alleviate the pai she can take Ibuprofen.and if she misses her period in this month she should see a gynecologist for a proper clinical check-up and hormonal assay.my best wishes for her.thank you.
