Hi, i just started using the pill for birth control. I skipped a day on accident and started my period while still on the hormone pills. Should i skip the placebo pills and start a new pack or still take the placebo pills? Will my pwriod be two weeks now instead of just one?

Hi..Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is common causes of irregular periods in women. Women with PCOS are given Birth control pills to trigger a period Birth control pills contains hormones estrogen and progesterone. The hormone pill should be taken regularly for 21 days followed by placebo pill till menstruation. Start with hormone pills on 1st day of menstrual bleeding
As you told you skipped your tablets & now you got your periods. So now you should start with hormone pills again

For further queries, consult a gynaecologist
Hope this information helps.
