Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Nose infection or eustachian tube block may lead to middle ear infection which may rupture in future. First get complete recovery from ear nose and sinus infection. Then get it done tympanoplasty. Absent eardrum lead to prone for infections of middle ear if water enter into it. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
