Can Increased Muscle Pain In Back After Multiple Falls Indicate Strained Muscle?

I fell last week outside on my stairs then again on my staircase inside. Both times I fell and hit my tailbone. Of course there was immediate pain. Over the last couple of days the pain in my side has increased. Almost like a muscle. Just wondering if I should get it checked or let it run its course. I figured I have strained a muscle or something of that sort.
