Can Increase In Dosage Of Vesicare From .5 To .10 Increase Its Effectiveness For Incontinence?

I was taking vesicare .5 for about 6 weeks for urge incontinence. The vesicare seemd to help - about a 70% solution but I had dry mouth. My doctor suggested I try myrbetriq since it did not have a side effect of dry mouth. I ve been taking myrbetriq for about 1 1/2 weeks and been having headaches and became constipated. I was not constipated on the vesicare. I m thinking I should go back to vesciare. Would increasing the vesicare dosage from .5 to .10 increase its effectiveness for the incontinence?

Thanks for your query.
You have Over Active Bladder Syndrom for which you had been taking Vesicare however since you had dryness of the mouth you have switched on to Myrbetriq 50 mg daily.

Normally it takes 6-8 weeks time to see the results of Myrbetriq and added advantage of this drug is that it has no side effect of dryness of mouth seen with Vesicare.

Please continue it for couple of weeks and side effects like head ache and constipation are likely to get resolved.There is no need to increase the dose of medicine.
