Can I Take Nebulizer For Wheezing?

Hello I have asthma, today I was cleaning out a barn, Long story short I had some trouble breathing so i took my rescue inhaler, It didn t do vary much. That was 2 hours ago, I am now home where I can take a nebulizer treatment. Do I need to wait another 2 hours or can I take it now. My chest is tight and Im wheezing mildly.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should take the nebuliser treatment as soon as possible since you are still experiencing the symptoms of acute asthmatic attack.

If you wait 2 hours, it is possible that your symptoms may worsen.

If there is no improvement with your home treatment then you need to see a doctor as soon as possible.
Additional treatment such as steroids and oxygen with nebs, may be needed.

I hope this helps
