Can I Take PTB Medicines If Previous Chest X-ray Shows Minimal PTB?

my friend has been taking quadtab since june 27 2011 is it ok if she will continue taking this 4 combinations of ptb meds until tomorrow because her doctor is not around yet and the follow up chest xray will be done tomorrow? the previous result is ptb minimal undetermined activity. thanks dr.grief

I can understand your concern.
If it is matter of 1 day only, she can take anti tubercular drugs for 1 more day.
No harm in it.
But tell her, not to take it for more than 1 day without consulting her doctor because these drugs are highly toxic and have many side effects.
So tell her to take them for 1 day and visit her doctor on day after tomorrow for further guidance about anti TB drugs.
