I have Ciplox-TZ . I have a sever toothache at the wisdom tooth which was done rootcanal. over a period of time the root canal came out and it filled up. Now there is a severe pain. I took combiflam 8 hrs back. about four hrs back I took ketrol DT. Now the pain has again started. Should I start with Ciplox-TZ 1 BD. I also have Azitomycin 500. Or should I take Azithomycin. Please advise for fighting this infection.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
It is advisable to take a course of Ciplox-TZ tablet for your tooth ache as it contains broad spectrum antibiotic Ciprofloxacin with antibiotic effective against gram-negative bacteria namely tinidazole.
Azhithromycin is also an antibiotic, which is preferred to be used during respiratory infections.
Kindly continue with analgesic medication what you are taking. Maintain good oral hygiene by doing salt water gargling along with mouth wash using chlorhexidine solution.
Kindly consult Dentist for appropriate evaluation and management of the same.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
