Can I Still Smoke And Drink After Fixing The Pacemaker?

im 66 years old i had bypass 6 months ago im having problem with my lungs geting fluid doctors thinking of putting pacemaker i was havy smoker and drinking alchol i cant quit ican be social drinker i just want to know when docters will put the pacemaker i can stil smoke and drink or no

SMOKING is a BIG NO-NO or you a all times, pacemaker or no pacemaker... !

Appaently, you are going to get a Triple Chamber pacemaker, more apropriately called CRT.

As far as alcohol is considered, occassional social drinking may be allowed.
