Can I Have Tattoos Done After Mitral Valve Repair?

Hello, I am 34 years old and I have had a mitral valve repair recently , done at the Cleveland Ohio clinic by dr. Lytle. The operation was succesful, leaving no trace of regurgitation. I would like to know if in the future i can have tattoos done or the risk of endocarditis is too great, thank you. Stefano
