As per your complain pimple scars in case if are due to dark pigmentation seems to be due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and the medications advised to you for topical application like brite cream contains Hydroquinone and oxybenzone while Tenovate contains steroid.. Both these creams can help in reducing the spots but has a drawback that stopping usage can lead to recurring pigmentation.. But long term use is not advisable as can lead to severe side effects.. I would however suggest you to use safer depigmentation creams like wash your face with salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing facewash, apply creams containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin.. Apply Vitamin E gel.. Exfoliate your skin weekly to remove dead skin and unclog pores.. Drink plenty of water.. You can also go for treatments like Microdermabrasion and chemical peelings..
