Can Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Cause Anxiety And Panic Attacks?

Im 38 yrs old male i found out that i had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy last yr and i have really bad anxiety attacks and panic attacks is that caused by my hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,, some days i feel good and other days i feel like im going crazy from the anxiety i do take meds for it but i was just wondering if my condition would make me have the attacks ?

1. Since in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy [HCM] the pumping ability of heart is less efficient as a result, the cardiac output is reduced which results in light headedness, syncope,chest pain,shortness of breath or fainting and it is due to these symptoms which can cause fear/anxiety/panic among patient while during or after exercise.

2. Since HCM is associated with sudden death thus check with your Cardiologist for self management and prevention of the same. [lifestyle changes and regular medical appointment]

PS. Because hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is inherited, it can't be prevented. But it's important to identify the condition as early as possible to guide treatment and prevent complications.
