Can Home Remedies Help In Avoiding Insulin Injections For Diabetes?

Dr. I am ramachandran aged 73 = years. My Dentist when informed me to check RBC I found that my sugar level is high and started taking medicine for diabetic. Initially I was taking DIAPRIDE table of i mg for two to three years i.e 2008/09 Recently in 2012. when an old scar type skin in my leg, which I am told my parents that some sore occurred when I was very young say - 4-5 years and after a long tie it healed leaving a scar type of skin very thin in nature. When this has opened up my physician recommended to take Diapride 2 mg 2-0-2 and Insugen 40 iu ml injection of 20 ml to be taken before bed time. My sugar level is around 160 level I do good physical exercise and feel fit. I ride scooter and move like a normal person I am taking Amtas 5 mg for my Blood Pressure in night with 75mg Ecosprin.
I want to get rid of this injection. Is there way out. I also seeen a TV item recommending to consume Bitter guard dried in sunlight and powdered and take one spoon in mild warm water. I did not attempt to experiment. YOUR EXPERT ADVICE IS SOLICITED TO GET RID OFF THIS I NJECTION

Hello,
Your sugar levels are perfectly in order at the moment and hence the treatment should not be changed. You may try bitter gourd in addition but this initself would be insufficient to control your blood sugar levels.
The moment you stop your injectable insulin, your blood sugar levels are going to get haywire and eventually you would have to start injectable insulin again.
There is no problem and harm in getting the injectable insulin.
In fact giving insulin to a diabetic is the best treatment.
Thanks
