Can Higher Dose Of Kadian Be Taken For Chronic Pain In Legs Due To Cellulitis?

I had cellulitis of my left leg and it was severe. I was hospitalized for ten days and off work for 5 months. I have chronic daily pain in my legs. My doctor is very conservative with pain medication and I understand that to a point. I feel like I don t have a life with this pain everyday. I would like her to prescribe Kadian at a higher dose. It seems to work pretty well for me. Any other suggestions for pain control?

hi
i feel sorry for your suffering.Beside going for pain control may i know how is the condition of your leg?do you have diabetes, blood vessel obstruction? Kadian is moephine an opioid,it's habbit forming and withdrawl is difficult,so follow the advice of your doctor.
my advice would be improve your cellulitis ,take a second opinion .your pain will go away.
take care and god bless you
