Can High Thyroid Level Effect Pregnancy?

i was diagnosed with "high" thyroid count 6 Weeks ago. She said if it went higher i would be placed on meds. if not, i would stay off meds. I am now 4 days late on my period and i ALWAYS have my period. We have been trying to get prego for 3 months now. ( i went off my pills 3 months ago). I have teken 3 test now and all negative. Could my thyroid disorder be giving a false negative???

Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic
I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
No thyroid wont give a negative urine pregnancy test. So I advice you to undergo a sonography which will confirm whether you are pregnant or not.Further thyroid disorders can cause first trimester abortions and are thus harmful for the growing fetus. So I suggest you to consult with your obstetrician as soon as possible.

I hope my answer was helpful for you . Dont forget to close the discussion.Thank you.
