Can Having Morning After Pill Before Unprotected Sex Avoid Pregnancy?

Does the morning after pill work the day before? I had unprotected sex and then took the morning after pill. Then less than 24 hours later I sort of had sex condom protected though, but the condom broke as soon as he well finished. Do I have to take another pill?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Once you have taken I pill, its effect stays for 2-3 days. that is 72 hrs after taking pill.
So if the condom broke on the act within 24 hrs of taking the pill, the previously taken I pill will be effective in preventing any pregnancy with due to 2nd time.
however if you have unprotected sex after 72 hrs of taking pill, it wont guarantee contraception and pregnancy can occur.
SO, now no need to take another pill.
