Can Having Intercourse During Periods Cause Pregnancy?

Hi my wife had her period start on 11th may we had sex on 12th May as it was first night, we did unprotected sex, however she took I pill the same day. We had protected sex thereafter & her period lasted till 17th May & now her periods have not come. on 15th pregnancy test & came negative. can you suggest, we dnt want baby as of now.

Answer:
There is little chance to get pregnant in this phase of the menstrual cycle. The first 7 days from start of menstruation is a safe period for having sex without worry of getting pregnant even without the use of contraceptive. So don't worry! Sometimes periods may delay some days, it is normal!
