Can Having Implant As Birth Control Cause Fluctuating Appetite And Mood Swings?

I had a baby 3 months ago my first child and im 20 I got the implant because I don t want to get pregnant just yet, but since I ve had it ice felt really down and my mood changes from either angry or sad I am normally a happy person also I can t stop eating and when I eat I don t feel like in getting full... Is there anything else as good as the implant because it s getting me down now and it still hurts my arm I ve had it in for at least 4 weeks Thankyou

Hi welcome to Healthcare Magic. The symptoms that you explain couldwbe because of the hormonal changes that occur after delivery. This is experienced by many females. There are very less chances that it is due to the implant. I suggest you wait for a month, the symptoms should go away. If you still experience the same you can switch to a loop or cooper T implant that would be put in uterus.
