Can Having Cervical Radiculopathy Be Safe For Disc Herniation In Neck And Upper Back?

Hi, could I have cervical radiculopathy ? if my nerves system is fine all I have is my neck pain(3 years) and i have shoulder arm pain and like a joint pain in my hand.. weakness in my arm?all on right side, MRI scan showed discks herniations neck and upper back but no pressure on nerves.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you has cervical radiculopathy after disc herniation. It is chronic because it is since 3 years .It is due to pressure of herniated disc on spinal cord, it may be off and on. Treatment of it is rest, Mecobalamine neck exercises and analgesic for pain relief. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
