Hi Doctor, Urgent request. I am suffering from painful bumps and some small ulcer in my labia majora for a week now. It started after shaving twice with 2 days apart from the first shaving and I had an intercourse with my husband. I had my first consultation with an OB Gyne and she ordered urinalysis, tranvaginal ultrasound, CBC, KOH and Gram stain ( specimen: vaginal discharge only). Urinalysis, UTZ and CBC are all normal. KOH + positive for fungal elements while the Gram stain result is : *Pus cell: few, *Epithelial cells: Moderate, *Organism: Gram negative bacilli = MANY Gram positive bacilli = Moderate Yeast cells = Moderate She prescribed antibiotics, pain killer, ointment and suppositories. My concern is the result in my Gram stain result, I want to know what does GRAM Negative bacilli *MANY means because according to her I have Gonorrhea and it is so depressing. I have doubts on her diagnosis. She prescribed me more meds yesterday and convincing me to have HPV vaccine on the same day for I may have cancer very soon. Please help me. Thank you.
