Can Gas Cause Chest Pain?

I have had for 3 days now some Gas like pains in my chest area. I am 45 year old woman so I do not believe it to be heart related but I did have some minor arm pain with the like very small pains in the neck area. Kind of like spasms. Today I had a VERY dark stool with small what specks all thru it. Please advise

Dear- it looks that you might have gastritits or peptic ulcer disease.Dark stools most likely are blood from the stomach which could be a bleeding ulcer. It can give you severe epigastric pain that can mimic a heart attack, but the color of the stool will go in favor of an intestinal problem.You need to see a doctor as soon as possible to evaluate where is the bleeding coming from.
