Can Fucidin Cream Be Used To Cure Red, Dry, Tight And Sore Skin On Face After Being On Sunbed And Burnt Face?
I went on a sunbed on Friday and burnt my face, well my face is still red and in some places it is all dry and tight and looks like eczema it s so sore. When I put moisturiser on it, it burns. Can I use fucidin cream for it or can you recommended something else please
Well, the best way is to keep the skin hydrated and protected. You can apply Aloe Vera gel over the burnt areas and even the entire face for a cooling and anti inflammatory effect. You can cool it in a refrigerator and apply it cool for more soothing effect. Apply a moisturizer will also help in reducing dryness and tight feeling.
You can do cool compresses over the skin but do not apply ice directly, always wrap ice in cotton cloth and apply. Wash face gently with cold water. Applying coconut oil is also helpful and have soothing effect. In case if there is too much pain and inflammation, you can take anti inflammatory painkiller to reduce pain and inflammation. You should also drink plenty of water and take sufficient rest. In case if it does not improve then you should see a Physician and get checked.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
