Can Frequent Use Of Oxycontin Causes Any Problem?

I took one of my 30mg oxycontins this morning, and 10mg norco this afternoon for breakthrough pain, another 30mg oxycontin this evening, and hour and a half later 20mg of norco and then an hour after that i broke a 30mg oxycontin in half and took that. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have been taking opiates for 10 years you may have developed tolerance and this dosage will not cause harm to you. Try to avoid taking too much if the pain is tolerable. Taking to a pain doctor would be advisable.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
