Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just started taking Flomax after a bladder infection as I was having difficulty in voiding. I experienced symptoms of joint pain in my thumb joints. I stopped taking the Flomax last night & my thumb joints seem to have improved . Is there a connection?
HI Thanks for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given history about the drug indices joint pain is not true the medicine that you are taking may not induce any kind of joint pain not even in the thumb, this would be coincidence that you have stop taking the drug and your condition of thumb improved. I would like to say you that you better change drug instead of "Flomax" you can have any other drug for that you can ask your doctor to do that, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
