Can Finger Swelling And Numbness Due To A Scorpion Bite Be Treated?

I got stung on my finger by a Scorpion and my mom gave me a shot to avoid the venom. But its been 3 days and my finger has swollen up and red around where i got stung and itchy. Mom says it s normal but im going crazy because this swollen numbness is worse. Please Help!

After a scorpion sting you can have persistent swelling and redness especially on a finger. I would recommend that you try to keep the hand elevated, use ice to reduce swelling and for the itching take an anti-histamine like diphenhydramine or loratidine.
