Can Fibroid Tumor Cause Sharp Pain In Lower Stomach?

I was recently diagnosed with a large fibroid tumor (size of an orange) on my ride side outside of the uterus. I also have chocolate cysts on each ovary. Lately I ve been getting this sharp but very quick pain on the right lower side of my stomach. Is this normal?

Thank you for posting your query in HCM
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.

See, if the pain you are experiencing is cyclical i.e associated with periods then it can be because of the chocolate cysts or endometriosis. Also, a large fibroid associated with obstruction or torsion can cause pain also. I would ask you to visit your gynaecologist and get his/her valuable advice.

Hope this was helpful.
Regards
