Hello doctor , i had my pelvic ultra sound done today and it says there is a anechoic aseptate cystic lesion measuring 26*26mm in right ovary and left ovary meausures 36*16mm collapsed in pouch of douglas .what does it mean is it normal ,i actually got it done bcoz my gyno felt and sensed some hard mass during the pelvic exam and she was so sure that it might be a fibroid. Prior to this i had my u.s done ten days back which was completely different ,here s how it is ,right ovary completely normal in size ,on the left ovary theres a 71mm cyst , i dont understand this much of a variation in the reports .my question is it possible that a fibroid couldnt be detected on the ultra sound, what is that hard mass which she detected ? But not on the ultra sound?and more over the huge variation in the reports.my uterus measures 93*58*48mm mildly bulky in size .By the way my age is 28 ,had no kids, eager to get pregnant .will these results tamper my chances . . . .
